GMZ’s Mission

“A place where the Word of God and the Power of God are available! The Spirit of the Lord is upon us and He has anointed us to preach the gospel and to raise up a body of believers to be the church our Lord Jesus Christ; a church without walls. Our goals are to teach the Word of God so that we will not just sing, read, and hear about the power but manifest the power of God in our lives so that others can see the Word, hear the Word, and understand the Word of God. ”

Belief Statement

• WE BELIEVE IN THE TRIUNE MANIFESTATION OF ONE GOD ( 1 John 5:7; Mathew 28:19; 1 Tim 3:16).

• We believe in the Father who is God, The Creator of the world and the origin of all existence, God of Creation (Gen 1:1 John 1:1).

• We believe that Jesus is the Son of God (Heb 1:8) He died on the cross for the salvation of mankind, and rose from the dead the third day according to the scriptures (Act 1: 2&3). He said I am the Way the Truth and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me (John 14:6).

• We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God (Act 5:3 & 4) is the indwelling power of God that is with each believer, It is what empowers us to do the work and will of God, and is called the Comforter (John 14: 17, 26).

• We believe in the regeneration and cleaning power of the blood of Jesus, it is that blood that atones our sins and iniquity. It is his blood that saves, heals and sets free. (Romans 5:9-11; Ephesians 1:7).

• We believe that the bible is the infallible word of God. It’s in the word that we find the answers to the questions of life. The word is for our growth and our daily walk with Christ. It is the only truth that we have. (2 Timothy 3:16 ; John 17:17).

• We believe that we should wash our minds with the word of God daily. We should study and pray and stay in communion with God through his word. (2 Timothy 2:15).

• We believe in the worshiping of God in song, dance and raising our hands. We worship and praise him with our whole being( Psalms 150:1-6; John 4:24).

• We believe in justification by faith alone through grace alone. Salvation is free and apart from works in which we can do. (Gal 5:5; Romans 10: 9-10).

• We believe that believers should be water baptized by immersion for the remission of sins. Baptism is a public acknowledgement that we belong to Christ and are walking in the newness of life. (Mark 16:15-16; Romans 6:4; Act 2:38).We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the signs that follow.

• We believe in all of the gifts of the Spirit Healing, Miracles, Speaking in Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues, (Mark 16: 17-18; 1 Corinthians 12:28; 1 Corinthians 14:2, 39).

• We at Greater Mount Zion hold these truths of the Gospel as our beliefs and many outer scriptures. In which we base our beliefs, doctrine, and our way of life. Jesus said Sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is true John 17:17.

The Romans Road to Salvation

• We have all made mistakes. – Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

• The price we pay. – Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

• God’s love for us. – Romans 5:8 – But God commendeth His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. S

• Salvation by Faith. – Romans 10:9 – That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
